Young German Zverev has had good practise versus hard hitters. He beat Kevin Anderson of South Africa 2-1 in sets in a game containing 27 games. Last night he fought a trickier opponent in Dolgopolov of Ukraine, beating him 2-1 in sets as well. That game contained 28 games. I am rather impressed with Zverev. He has played some pretty good tennis the last couple of weeks. He has his chance here against serve cannon Cilic who surely is looking forward to the US Open.
Cilic relies on a big serve, and yesterday he played two tie breakers versus Sam Querry who isn't a bad server as well. Cilic won both tie breaks and therefore the match 2-0.
Zverev's chances lie in that Cilic hasn't played a lot of tennis lately. Can he find a way through Cilic's serve he has good chances of notching a set. Something that should yield us a win. At 1.95 I think it is worth 2 units.
