Tuesday football action in Champions League and Audi Cup
There is plenty of football action today, with both the second leg of the Champions League third round and the Audi Cup, and below we will take a quick look at some of the matches. Remember to check our predictions page for up to date free football predictions.
Champions League: APOEL Nicosia v FC Midtjylland
APOEL took a deserved win in the first match away to Midtjylland, and are set for another win tonight. We have written a prediction for this match, click here to read it.
Champions League: Molde v Dinamo Zagreb
The first leg match ended 1-1, so Molde has the upper hand going into this match. Molde did well in the first match, and this looks like another quite evenly balanced matchup. One difference could be that Molde are halfway into their domestic season and therefore more match fit compared to Zagreb who have played four matches in their league. We have written a prediction about this match and recommend betting Molde draw no bet, read this for more information.
Champions League: Ajax v Rapid Wien
Ajax is the best team, but Rapid Wien managed a 2-2 draw in the first match after being behind with two goals. The Dutch side has not yet started their domestic season, while the Austrians have played two matches and beat Salzburg 2-1 in a great performance last weekend. This looks like a very interesting and entertaining match, and we have a prediction for it where we recommend a bet on both teams to score, you can read it here.
Champions League: Monaco v Young Boys
Monaco won the first match 2-0 and looks set to advance. But for Young Boys this is still a big game against such a high profile opponent, and they can play this match without much pressure. We expect Young Boys to play offensive football tonight, and this would also give Monaco some great opportunities. In other words - it could be a big scoring game. If you agree, you can get 10/13 (1.77) for over 2.5 goals with Unibet. Unibet is also offering new customers a £20 welcome offer, if your first bet loses they will refund your first bet up to £20 as bonus money!
Audi Cup: Real Madrid v Tottenham
This match is being played in the Allianz Arena in Munich. There will be no Ronaldo or Benzema playing for Real Madrid, but no doubt still plenty of quality players in the Spanish side. Benitez will be looking for a good start to his European matches, after beating Manchester City 4-1 in Melbourne. The Spanish side still has three weeks until domestic league start, while Tottenham are starting their league next weekend away to Manchester United. The English teams have not impressed that much in the pre-season matches, and we think Tottenham will be in trouble here as well. If you fancy a handicap bet on Real Madrid, BetVictor is offering Real Madrid -1 at 6/5 (2.20). BetVictor are offering a £50 welcome bonus to all new customers, they will match the value of your first bet with bonus funds up to £50! (terms and conditions do apply).
