Wednesday football and tennis recap
Yesterday saw plenty of good action, both on the football pitches and the tennis courts, and was a great day for betting. We hope you followed our predictions!
Champions League qualification
The UEFA Champions League is well into its qualification stage, and yesterday they played the remaining six matches of the third round first leg. Celtic, Basel and Salzburg all won their matches and beat the teams Qarabag, Lech Poznan and Malmo. Rapid Wien managed a 2-2 tie at home against Ajax, a good result when you consider they were 0-2 down at halftime.
Celtic only managed a narrow win 1-0 against Qarabag, so if you followed our prediction for +1.25 on Qarabag you would have earned a win on half your stake and got the other half back.
Europa League qualification
There was one UEFA Europa League qualification match yesterday, and for us it was a winner. Jablonec lost at home to FC Copenhagen, and predictably so as we bet Copenhagen +0.25
ATP Tennis
There is plenty of tennis action nowadays, this week there are ATP tournaments in Hamburg, Atlanta and Gstaad. Our tennis prediction was for the ATP Atlanta match between Muller and Donaldson. Muller won that match in great style 6-3 6-2, and comfortably covered our bet on Muller -3 games.
