MY VIEW ON THE SQUAD

Not many observers seem to be tipping Italy and that will suit them fine.  Cesare Prandelli has some tough decisions to make as he has so many selection  headaches all across the park. His keeper is sorted with Buffon’s name already penciled in. The defence will be solid and unspectacular who ever he selects. Midfield is a real quality and varied selection. The ageless Pirlo motors on while Prandelli selects between De Rossi, Verrati, Thaigo Motto and a few others. Forwards will again cause headaches but they are welcome problems. Again variety is the key here, he has Balotelli of course but backup in the shape of Immobile, Rossi and Cassano.
