Doncaster v Ipswich may not be everyones idea of an upset but Mick McCarthy is known for dropping out of the Capital One meekly. That they sit atop of the Championship makes it even more likely for me. Doncaster have not had a great run in League 1 so far with 3 draws and 1 loss so far. Donny have no new injury worries. Ipswich are flying and for me that’s a good reason for them to forego this or at best play the reserves entirely. Daryl Murphy, Teddy Bishop and Kevin Bru are all out. While new professionals Myles Kenlock, Joshua Emmanuel and Adam McDonell are all in line for rare starts.
Normally you would have Ipswich very short for a game like this. However Ipswich are playing a shadow side and they are not expected to perform at their normal level. I take Doncaster +0.25 – we get paid on a home win and get half a win and half stakes returned if Doncaster draw.
