Rotherham host Norwich in this Capital One Cup. Rotherham are bottom of Championship with 1 draw and 3 losses from opening games. They look doomed to me and I cant see them getting out the bottom three. Coach Steve Evans is no lover of the cups and I wouldn’t be surprised if he tries to exit with a few kids selected. Two of his better players are injury doubts and I just cannot see them being risked. Joe Mattock and Richie Smallwood are not 100% while Kirk Broadfoot is suspended. Young keeper Adam Collin is in line for a debut. Norwich have started ok in the Premiership with 1 win, 1 draw and 1 loss. They will rotate here for sure but the back up players they have are more than capable of beating even a full strength Norwich. Bradley Johnson, strikers Kyle Lafferty, Lewis Grabban and Gary Hooper and defender Martin Olsson would all walk into most of the leagues 1st teams. With three of those full internationals.
Norwich are a great bet here at 4/5 or 1.80 with Williamhills. I always look at managers at this stage of the competition and their likelihood to rotate their way out the competition and Rotherham are looking poor anyway.
