BURNLEY - MIDDLESBROUGH PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Burnley sit in 10th position, just 7 points behind tonights rivals Middlesbrough who occupy the last playoff position. Burnley have slipped out of form of late, just at the wrong time. No wins in three matches now in what was a very easy run of games. Burnley have 12 wins, 7 draws and 12 losses.  Sam Vokes is the only new injury worry for Burnley.

Middlesbrough still struggle and are in terrible form. Boro have 5 losses in the last 6 games as they lurch from one disaster to the next. They have managed just 5 goals and conceded 14 in what has been a terrible run of form.  They have played a few top teams (Watford & Leicester) but they have also lost to relegation fighters (Ipswich & Barnsley) Middlesbrough sit in the last playoff position but where in the automatic spot at one point. They have 16 wins, 2 draws and 14 defeats. Only the bottom five sides have lost more games than Middlesbrough. A few key players return for Boro, Curtis Main is back after suspension and Jonathan Woodgate is back from injury.

With Main back they regain a striker in rich form, not just goalscoring but the all round play they have missed due to injuries in the squad.
