Such is my confidence with MK Dons I have gone in and backed them each way for the Championship at 50-1! – They play some excellent football and now have a squad with serious depth. They have opened up with 2 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss. With just the two goals conceded in the opening games. They have beaten Bolton and Rotherham. They have moved into the next round of the Capital One Cup also with wins over Cardiff and Orient. David Martin will return in goal while captain Dean Lewington and Antony Kay should come back into the back four. Midfielders Darren Potter, Dean Bowditch and Samir Carruthers will return after resting also. Birmingham have no injury worries for this one but attacker Demarai Gray may sit out after speculation linking him with a move to Premiership Leicester surfaced. If he is out that’s a bonus to us MK Dons backers. Birmingham have 1 win and 2 draws from their opening salvo with a postponed game against Brentford that was re arranged.
I am following MK Dons avidly until bookmakers start taking them seriously. I believe they have had no trouble adapting to the higher division and the odds are too big. I take MK -0.25 with Pinnacle. We get paid on the win, a draw sees half stakes returned.
