ARSENAL V WEST HAM UNITED PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Arsenal will be hugely disappointed by back to back defeats against Manchester City and Chelsea where they were largely to blame for their own problems.  Against Chelsea some poor closing down led the way for an early 2-0 lead for Chelsea and it took until the second half for Arsenal to start playing.  They dominated the second half and were unlucky not to get the draw but giving away the 2 goal lead was the problem and they must go into this match with the intensity they showed in the second half against Chelsea.

West Ham are well clear of the relegation fight with an 8 point buffer over Reading in 18^th.  They want to keep amassing points so a poor run doesn’t see them falling down near danger.  New signing Marouane Chamakh, who moved on loan from Arsenal, started up front at the weekend but with Andy Carroll recovered from his knee injury he may be in contention to start.
