Greek sides along with the national team have taken a real drop over the last few years and I have few qualms about going against them even at home. Olympiakos are record winners of the national title with 42 victories. Including the last three in succession. They reached the last 16 two years back but were beaten by a sub par Man Utd. The team roster no longer reads of players of note with the likes of Pajtim Kasami a key player for them but one who could barely run Fulham’s midfield. They have done well in Greece Premier so far with three wins from three and 8 goals score with just 1 conceded (although they have faced teams not expected to finish top half) Midfielder Luka Milivojevic is out injured. Bayern Munich need little introduction. They are leaving a few players back in Germany though. Injuries mean Arjen Robben, Medhi Benatia, Holger Badstuber and Franck Ribery all miss out. Mario Gotze is included however. Bayern sit joint top the Bundesliga with 4 straight victories and 12 goals scored with 2 conceded.
Olympiakos are not the side from 5 years ago, the one that was very tough to beat in Athens. This vintage is more average and they cannot stop the German machine. I take Bayern at -1 at 2.04.
