Both sides went out of the Europa league in midweek, but in Serie A it is Napoli (17-7-4) who hold sway in both position and recent form. Ten points ahead of La Viola in that precious third place, Napoli are unbeaten in six in Serie A, with very important 1-0 wins over strong rivals in the last two. With no losses in the last seven meetings against Fiorentina, and home form (9-4-1) excellent, an expected Napoli win will pretty much cement at least a third placed finish. Fiorentina (14-6-8) have suffered since injury to top scorer Rossi, and have won just one of their last five league matches (with three defeats). It is form that has severely damaged their Champions league hopes, and defeat here will put a final nail in any lingering hope of it. Maggio and Zuniga(mid) miss out injured for Napoli, with Rossi(str) out and Pizarro doubtful for Fiorentina.
