Roma v Inter Milan predictions: Facts

This Coppa Italia Semi-Final is a two legged affair. It is also basically a replay of this weekend's tie between these two sides, a game that ended 1-1 after Roma dominating possession, but failing to produce enough chances to end the fixture as winners. Since, and including 2011 two more games has been played in Roma between these two; In the Coppa Italia Inter Milan has a 1-0 win, and in the Serie A Roma won 4-0.

Roma has gotten players such as Totti, Lamela and Osvaldo back as of late. Now both Pjanic and Balzaretti should be fully fit as well. Stekelenburg is ready again too, and is a likely starter in this cup game. Inter Milan, according to reports has sold Wesley Sneijder to Galatasaray. Couthino seems to be Anfield bound, and Inter has struggled with injuries for quite some time. However, there are some positives. In defense Alvaro Pereira and Yuto Nagatomo are back. Midfielder  Walter Gargano is also back. All of these three players could be rested here though as they've just recovered from injury. Antonio Cassano is a doubt.

Inter did well to get a draw in the weekend. Roma was clearly the better side. Inter Milan still looks very thin up front, and Roma has a lot of options. If coach Stramaccioni decides to rest his returning stars I fear this will be fairly one-sided.
