Copa America - Bolivia preview
Group A
Chile – Mexico – Ecuador – Bolivia
Group A on is a very tough one on paper but looking past the teams we can narrow it down in our favour. Top two sides qualify automatically with the next best three teams going through. So every game will be worth playing 100% for as a side could go through with 3 points!
Ok let’s break down the teams with some outright betting, Group Winners and anything else that presents itself!
BOLIVIA (Ranked 12th in Comnebol)
2014-15 Form: 1 wins, 1 draws, 5losses. – Win % 14%
2014-15 Top Scorers: D.Lizio 1, R.Raldes 1
Bolivia have struggled for a while now and they are no longer capable of matching teams at all. At home in the clouds of La Paz they can beat anyone but away from the top of earth they struggle big time. They seem to be playing less and less also which cannot help their case. Just 5 games in 18 months is poor return and when you compare that to likes of Mexico (23 games) its startling. They have very little quality through the team. The defence is home grown while the attackers mainly play their trade worldwide but only Marcelo Martins Moreno a known quantity. Hes managed 12 in 50 for the team which is decent given their poor results – the rest of the squad have 12 between them which is abysmal.
I cannot see anything other then bottom place of the group for them. With all other three teams trying to smash them out of the park given the nature of the competition and potentially all three teams qualifying. There are no selections for Bolivia at all due to the lack of markets available.
However If you fancy them to win the group you can get 25-1 bet365. If you think they can sneak through qualifying and finish 2nd you get 5-1 with 888sport – while Ladbrokes will give you 2.50 or 6-4 on them qualifying anyway – although the 15-8 (2.88) on Bolivia making quarterfinals with Betfair is the same bet and much improved odds.
