SAO PAULO - SANTOS: PREDICTIONS

Big derby in Sao Paulo as we have the San-Sao match up. This should be pretty one sided though in truth as Santos are struggling after the loss of Neymar.

Sao Paulo have looked really strong in the first handful of matches. They have moved to the top of most bookmakers lists as they dispute favouritism with Fluminense. After a disappointing end to their Libertadores challenge they put all efforts into the Championship. After 5 games Sao Paulo are 2 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat. Included in this run was an astounding 5-1 win over Vasco.

Santos must adapt to life after Neymar, they opened the season in poor style with no wins in four but last match they had the benefit of meeting an under strength Mineiro side who were focused on Libertadores; Santos tried a change of tact and went back to basics with defensive style of play. Santos gained their 1^st win of the season but they should not trouble the top 8 in the table.
