An all England Championship tie as Reading travel to Brighton for this EFL cup tie. Reading are in 8th place with 14 points so far and are only separated by the home side on goal difference. Brighton have a few guys back from injury here with Connor Goldson, Uwe Huenemeier and Solly March joining Sam Baldock as available. I think Brighton will rotate heavily here as promotion is the main aim for sure. Reading are not in my mind serious promotion candidates. They arrive here without top scorer Gareth McCauley, but he is the only new missing man.
If this was a league game I would prefer the home side for sure. However Brighton have serious aspirations for promotion and extra games only detract from the push. Reading and the draw at 10-11 or 1.91 with Pinnacle.
