TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Crawley are trying to organise after a traumatic 5-2 home defeat to league leaders Tranmere on Saturday. Key man Claude Davis is likely to return to the starting line -up. Winger Sergio Torres is also available, so midfielder Shaun Cooper is the only doubt. On-loan strikers Jonathan Forte and Nicky Ajose are eligible to play in the competition and will offer competition to partner in form Gary Alexander. Crawley have had a metoric rise through the leagues with back to back promotions, they have adapted well to League 1 but are susceptible to heavy losses. Defence is lacking somewhat, but their attack is decent for this level.
Swansea are going through a tough period with no wins in three games. After such an explosive start to the season with some  fantastic football Michael Laudrup's team have come back to earth with a bump. Some ill discipline has seen a spate of needless red cards and this won't help the cause. With a chance to get back on track for Swansea after a pair of underpar performances Swansea will be all out to get the win. Changes are likely though with Gerhard Tremmel is likely to start in goal and Luke Moore will probably partner Danny Graham upfront.  Nathan Dyer and Chico will both miss out through suspension.

1X2 BETTING PREDICTION

2.25 on Swansea (Willhill) looks a big price for a Premiership side away to middling League 1 team. Swansea have a good squad and certainly one much above Crawley. The foward line up of Moore and Graham can terrorise the poor Crawley defence. This defence is regularly breached by standard league 1 attacks so the fast paced attacking Swansea should have far too much. 2.25 is a big price.

ASIAN HANDICAP PREDICTION

Swansea on the -1.0 handicap at 3.20 is the selection (Bet365) Swansea are too good for the home side and even a few rested players  should not effect the Welsh side. A very strong attack against the loose Crawley defence could cause havoc here. The match odds seem very big so give us big value on all the handicaps. -1 goal at 3.20 seems value, especially as Swansea tend to kick on even after going ahead.

TOTAL GOALS PREDICTION

Over 2.5 goals 1.90 (Pinnacle) seems big value here. Both sides are very open sides and are as free scoring as you would expect. Crawley have problems in defence and Swansea are not as solid as they would like. With a few team changes on both sides were may see more uncertainty. Both sides are better attackers and this could be an open entertaining affair.
