Barnsley sit rock bottom of the league with 38 points but are only 1 point behind 21st. With a record of 10 wins, 8 draws and 17 losses, they do have two games in hand on several teams above them. Barnsley have no new injury worries but did suffer a trouncing at the weekend in the FA Cup, losing 5-0 at Man City.

Brighton suffered a rare defeat at the weekend when they were undone by a resurgent Bolton side. They dropped out of the playoff places as the top teams scramble for a coveted place in the end of season lottery. 7 points seperate 6 teams who are fighting for only 2 place. Brighton have 14 wins, 14 draws and 8 losses. Ashley Barnes will miss out due to suspension, while Craig Mackail-Smith sits out for the rest of the season.
