Barnsley’s terrible run of form continues, but at least the fans saw an improvement in attitude and application last time out. Keith Hill has been working hard to bring in an injection of fresh blood to the side,striker Marcus Tudgay arrived late last week and is a decent forward. This week Hill has managed to bag striker Emile Sinclair from Peterborough, along with midfielders Akos Buzsaky from Pompey and Johnathon Greening from (Nottm Forest) three attacking players who will improve the side. The team is going through the motions each game and hopefully this trio will shake things up a bit.
Cardiff continued their amazing home run with a ninth straight home victory, something unprecedented across the top leagues in Europe. Beating fellow promotion rivals and form side Middlesbrough into the bargain. Cardiff just need to improve on their away form and if they can they have to be massive favourites to take the title. 2 wins from 8 away games is poor really and they look a totally different side than the unbeatable home one. Midfielder Jordan Mutch returns from injury and has been missed, While defender Simon Lappin checks in from Norwich on loan and provides cover across the back line.
