Barnsley are in poor form and have only 1 win in 8 matches, this includes a run of three successive defeats. Barnsley are in a real bind for players at the moment. Marlon Harewood is hopelessly out of form at the moment and does not look in the best of shape either.Top scorer Craig Davies is absent and key midfielder David Perkins faces 4 weeks out minimum. Huddersfield are a competent unit and upfront apart have a really decent first eleven.

This should be a straight forward win for the visitors, I actually expected to see Huddersfield vying for favouritism here to to see 2.90 is great value. Huddersfield are missing Vaughan and Beckford no doubt but they do have three capable strikers now. Barnsley are dropping like a stone, The side are adrift already and will drop further until Davies and Perkins return. This is a very difficult match as Huddersfield are a very good side. I expect more misery for Barnsley here.
