Huge Birmingham derby and the home side would love nothing better than putting a huge dent in their rivals promotion hopes. Birmingham are in poor form though and have just 2 wins in last 6 (2 draws and 2 losses) They are safe in midtable with 50 points from 40 matches. Key defender Paul Robinson misses out here – while injuries to another trio mean one or more may play not at 100% - doubts remain over Jonathan Spector (leg), Stephen Gleeson (ankle) and Diego Fabbrini. Wolves come here in top form – they have not lost in 6 matches and won the last 4. Away form is solid with 8 wins, 6 draw and 6 losses. They have no new injuries and have added winger Michael Jacobs to the squad after his loan ended.
A huge derby and these games tend to go against the form book. However the home side have only pride to play for and the way Wolves have been playing off late this should be a cracker. Tough one but I take Wolves on the 1x2 – a draw isn’t much use to them as the top 8 are so tightly bunched.
