BLACKBURN – CRYSTAL PALACE PREDICTIONS

Blackburn take on Crystal Palace in a game between two out of form former giants. Both sides have shown potential over the season but problems with coaches has affected the team spirit. All to play for in this interesting England Championship match up.

Blackburn secured their safety with a nice 2-1 away win at Millwall on Tuesday. In a game that looked set for a draw Blackburn kicked on nicely and grabbed all three points. Interim coach Gary Bowyer looks likely to get the job full time as he has performed well on the previous occasion. The job is a no win situation as with crazy owners Venkys not knowing their giblets from their nuggets he has little chance of being given any sort of time. Blackburn sit 15^th with a record of 14 wins, 14 draws and 16 defeats, they have won 3 of the last 4 so are in decent form. Under Bowyer they have been probably the best shape of the season so it makes sense to keep him rather than make another knee jerk appointment.

Crystal Palace are seriously struggling, Ridiculous run of form has continued with another winless streak. After looking like a corner had been turned in March, Palace have fallen again with seven games without a win. (3 draws, 4 losses) They have only managed four goals in that time and have drew five blanks. With all aspects of their game crumbling they go into the final three games of the season needing just four points to guarantee a playoff place. What happens then is anyone’s guess at they have no confidence at all a leaky defence and few if any players on form. Ian Holloway for me is totally over rated as a manager and a few funny sound bites does not win games. He went the same way at Blackpool and now Palace look to be in the same bother. Crystal Palace sit in 5^th position in England Championship with 18 wins, 13 draws and 12 defeats.

BLACKBURN – CRYSTAL PALACE: BETTING TIPS

Such a difficult game to predict this one as Palace are in such turmoil at the moment. They cannot find their form at all and players confidence is on the floor. I fancy Blackburn to grab the win here and compound The Eagles misery. Playing with no pressure for the 1^st time in ages Blackburn will be able to express themselves better. With three wins in four they know how to play under Bowyer.
