Blackburn host Norwich and on paper this does look a close game. However a few factors point me towards the visitors. Blackburn are in 10th position with 44 points from 32 games. They are 12 behind the last remaining playoff place with 14 games left. I believe this gap is simply too big now. Blackburn have an FA quarter final looming early March too and that can sometimes cloud the players minds. Blackburn in recent league games have 2 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses. Wins over Rotherham and Fulham but losses to Derby and Watford. Missing here will be Jason Lowe and David Dunne while Chris Taylor is a doubt. Back though are Ben Marshall and Corey Evans. Norwich had a tremendous result at the weekend, whacking high flying Watford 3-0 away. That moves them up to 5th and just a 6 point gap to the league leaders. Recent form is great with 4 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss – with 14 goals scored in that time. Gary O'Neil, Elliott Bennett and Ryan Bennett are out but Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe is match fit.
Watford are far superior to Blackburn and Norwich tore them apart at the weekend. With the top sides all floundering over the past few weeks Norwich have closed the gap well. I take another win here to move into the top spots. We get paid full odds on the win, a draw sees half stake returned.
