BLACKPOOL – DERBY PREDICTIONS

Midtable clash between two sides who should really be higher up the league. Neither side has really done themselves justice in this year’s England Championship.

Blackpool had been in great form going into last weekend and had given some excellent displays of football built on a solid backline. It all fell apart spectacularly as they were dismantled 6-1 at promotion chasing Brighton. Too many players had off days but Brighton were exceptional. Going into the game form was good with just 1 defeat in 10 games (3 wins, 6 draws) and only 5 goals conceded. Paul Ince has to be commended for his turnaround of the listing Blackpool. The Tangerines sit in 17^th with 13 wins, 16 draws and 15 defeats. They are only 4 points off the relegation but should be safe.

Derby have had a strange season in that they have beaten some top sides but often underwhelm. At home they are capable of taking on allcomers but sadly away from home they seldom give a performance. Form is mixed with four wins, 1 draw and 3 defeats from the last eight. Derby sit 11^th in England Championship with 15 wins, 13 draws and 16 defeats. Keeper Frankie Fielding will miss this game due to suspension and Adam Legzdins will take his place. Derby away from home do not offer much hope of victory. Only 2 sides have won less away games then the Rams with 4 from 22 a pitiful record.

BLACKPOOL - DERBY : BETTING TIPS

Blackpool must quickly forget the hammering from Brighton and get back on track to secure safety. Only a miracle would see them relegated but they would be wise to sort things out before the last game. Derby are really poor travellers and will struggle against Blackpool. Paul Ince has turned The Tangerines around and they do look a solid outfit now. The odds on the home side are dropping all the time so advice is get on early.
