Blackpool’s stuttering season continued as they could only muster a draw against a poor Bristol City side who had previously lost their last seven matches. Blackpool struggled for most of the game to find their rhythm and and were thankful for Thomas Ince’s last minute penalty to save a point. New coach Micheal Appleton is having the same problem Ian Holloway had. He has a massive squad of players and is struggling to find a balanced side from it. The quality is their he just doesn’t have a strong, even side.

Watford continued their good run with another strong victory, this time dispatching an ill disciplined Wolves side to take 4 wins from their last 7. Gianfranco Zola seems to have a settled side now and the quality within his side is of a high standard even for this level. He has found the right balance between his new signings and the old faces and Watford are a very capable side.
