TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Bolton continue to serve up rubbish, yet another poor display leads them to a pityful record of only two wins in ten games. Dougie Freedman has had less success than ousted Owen Coyle. Bolton have yet to perform anywhere near the level required for this league and they hover just above the relegation zone. Kevin Davies is available after suspension and should make the starting eleven. Sam Ricketts is another to return and he should also start. Matt Mills and Mark Davies are both unlikely to feature.
Birmingham are on the up, with only one loss in six now they seem a more consistent side. They are having no problem scoring but are a bit too open at the back still. Birmingham seem to be on a more even keel then earlier in the season but they still need to bump up the effort, as they too are not far off the relegation zone. Birmingham have a few injury worries: Marlon King, Peter Lovenkrands and Akwasi Asante (all strikers), midfielders Papa Bouba Diop and Darren Ambrose all sit out. Four quality attacking players who will be severly missed.
