TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Bolton are on a run of 6 games unbeaten for new coach Dougie Freeman and they finally managed to break their 4 game drawing streak with an impressive 2-1 away win at local rivals Blackburn.  After making six changes to the starting eleven the coach is using the massive squad to keep things fresh, Freeman has promised to swap things around again as the games come thick and fast. Bolton played Blackburn off the park in midweek in one of their best performances of the season. Bolton have no new injury worries.
Ipswich continue their improvement with Mick McCarthy giving the side a timely boost. Picking up 10 points from his 6 matches in charge the side are looking stronger but still have the soft centre that cursed them under Paul Jewell. McCarthy has been on the end of two serious hammerings with 11 goals conceded in their last two away games. Things look good at Portman Road but on their travels The Tractor Boys seem to lose all confidence. Luke Hyam is a big doubt, while Nigel Reo-Coker is definately out.
