Brentford’s last match of an eventful season and if you would have told them at the beginning that they could be in with a chance of a playoff place they would have snapped your fingers off. It’s a big ask for them to qualify but it can be done. They need to win their game for sure and at least 2 goals is a minumim. They need Derby and or Ipswich to falter in their games to stand any chance. If they win by three goals they will then need Ipswich to fail to beat Blackburn away which the odds suggest is possible. Recent form for Brentford shows 1win, 4 draws and 1 loss. They are without Scott Hogan and Chris Long however key man Alex Pricthard is back. Wigan are not in great form with 1 win in last 8 games (2 draws and 6 losses) They are relegated and should not put up much of a fight. They are without a fair few players too with Grant Holt, Emyr Huws, James McClean and Martyn Waghorn all out.
I don’t think Wigan will be at the races at all and expect a comfortable home win. With a few goals needed too I take the big handicap win. We need 2 goals margin to get paid here.
