BRIGHTON - BLACKPOOL :  PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Brighton claimed a much needed win at the weekend, to end a run of poor results. Vicente popped up with a late winner against promotion chasing Hull. Brighton sit in 7th position now just 2 points behind Middlesbrough, who take up the last promotion playoff spot. Only top team Cardiff have lost less times than Brighton. The Seagulls tend to draw too many though. Overall they have 11 wins, 12 draws and 7 losses. Brighton must do without Ashley Barnes, Gordon Greer and Andrew Crofts.
Blackburn have three wins on the trot now and are really starting to settle under third coach Michael Appleton. Blackburn look really solid now and have yet to concede in three games. More importantly the home crowd look appeased and have started to lay off the players. Something that was always going to be counter productive. Blackburn are just two points behind Brighton on 41 points. They have 11 wins, 10 draws and 9 losses. Top scorer Jordan Rhodes returns to the side and could be joined by new side Lee Williamson.

The draw (3.55 Pinnacle) Two sides on the up here but both are partial to drawing too many. Confidence is high with both sides and they are at the moment really excelling defensively. All the signs point towards a draw here and I think neither side will want to chance too much.  With 22 draws between them already this looks like making it 23. The price is far to big with 3.20 in some places nearer the mark.
