Brighton continue to take wins but they are having far too many draws, this could be vital at the end of the season. Last week they beat Premiership Newcastle in the cup but this too could be an unwelcome distraction when the games start piling up. Gus Poyet was the subject of an enquiry from Blackburn but a £2 million price tag has seen them off for now. Brighton have no new injury worries at this time.
Derby continue their surge up the table with an impressive demolition of high flying Middlesbrough. Coupled with a 5 goal thrashing of Tranmere in the cup things are looking good for Nigel Clough's men. If he could address their poor away form they could be a serious player in this division. Derby still look a different side away from home. Derby have a settled squad and also have no fresh injury problems.
