Brighton will be relieved to see the international break as it gives them a chance to recuperate their injured players. They hope to welcome back key men trio Andrew Crofts, Craig Mackail-Smith and Vicente. Striker Mackail-Smith has been missed as Brighton have hit a three game winless streak while he has sat out. Former Spain international winger Vicente is a huge player at this level and will improve the side immensely when fully fit, he's yet to feature this season so Seagull fans will be anxious to see him return to the side. Guy Poyet's men play some of the best football in the division and will dominate the possession here. Brighton have a water tight defence and with the return of Mackail-Smith expect an upturn in fortunes. Poyet has a fully fit squad for the first time this season, a welcome boost after a series of poor results.
Middlesborough have big problems with star striker Lucas Jutkiewitcz, while back up central defender Stephen McManus has left for Bristol City. Better news for Tony Mowbray with the availability of top stars Marvin Emnes and Jonathon Woodgate. It’s a rare bit of good news after weeks of injury misery that at one stage last week saw 13 players requiring treatment. Back for this game also are Kevin Thomson, Adam Reach and Stuart Parnaby while Merouane Zemmama is likely to feature also. That Middlesborough are only two points behind Brighton after having such injury problems is a credit to the team and Tony Mowbray.
