Bristol City are in dire trouble at the moment and are on a run of six straight defeats. The team is playing with very little confidence and defence is a shambles. Their last two defeats have been abject displays, both times offering nothing. Huddersfield and Birmingham were effectively handed the three points. The usual attack minded City were toothless and offered very little in any department. City are a side in big trouble, looking one of the worst sides in the league. Still conceding at a rate of 2 goals a game is a terrible return and puts them on the back foot in every game.

Charltons took part in one of the games of the season in midweek. Taking on Cardiff at home they were expected to hand over the three points. They duly went 2 goals down in the first half an hour. Charlton however simply moved up through the gears and went goal mad. Scoring 5 times in 25 times they went 3 goals up. Cardiff scored twice in injury time to complete the madness but the level of attacking play from Charlton in the game was excellent. Captain Johnny Jackson was excellent, Rob Hulse is a great signing and he is an excellent goalscorer.are well stocked but the supply line is absent. With forwards of the quality of Brad Wright-Phillips and Rob Hulse they should be finding the net but sadly not. Riccardo Fuller is facing a fitness test and if fit could form a very lively forward line with Hulse.
