Burnley have had such a stop/start season, they just cannot string a worthwhile run together. Last match they were backed to take the points away at struggling Barnsley but never got going at all.  Teams have cottoned on to the game plan to stop Burnley and it's very simple. Stop Charlie Austin, the Burnley man has 17 in 18 league games this season but recently has found himself double marked at times. In the last four games teams have concentrated their defensive line on him and he has only managed to score once. Burnley must work on a plan B as they struggle when he struggles. Dean Marney will probably slot back into the side after sitting out the game at Oakwell with a suspension.
Blackburn have registered just the one win in 6 games for Henning Berg as the continue to blunder their way through the season. The appointment by Venkys of Berg was just another in a long line of crazy decisions that have made the once proud Lancashire club a laughing stock. Henning Berg was hoping he could build on their 1st win away at Peterbrough in the last away game but alas it has not been a succesful platform. Rare good news for Rovers as Colin Kazim-Richards and Morten Gamst Pederson are finally fit and able. The two proven internationals will be a huge boost for the team going into the busy December schedule.

BURNLEY - BLACKBURN: 1X2 BETTING PREVIEW

2.88 on Blackburn (BetVictor)is the selection in this game. This is one of the more fiercest derbys contested in the UK. It might come as a surprise to those unfamiliar with the 2nd tier of England, but there is real hatred here. The game will be played at 100 miles per hour and expect to see flying tackles, plenty of bookings and some real passion in the stands. For me its a very close game but I feel with the return of the two internationals Kazim-Richards and Pederson Blackburn have the quality and experiance to deal with the atmosphere. Two teams in middling form but Blackburn with the proven top level quality to nick it.

BURNLEY - BLACKBURN:ASIAN HANDICAP PREDICTION

Blackburn at 0 is the selection here 2.10(Pinnacle) Blackburn are preferred to Burnley in what will be a white hot atmosphere.
