Cardiff go into this one in much improved form. They are unbeaten in four games after a series of impressive performances. They avoided losing against Brentford, Bournemouth and Birmingham which is decent. Cardiff are in 13th with 52 points, they are safe from relegation and cannot make the playoffs – so all that remains to play for is contract renewels and pride. Home form is good with 9 wins, 4 draws and 7 losses. Federico Macheda and Alex Revell are available while Ben Turner could play his 1st match since new year. Bolton are not in the greatest of form and sit in 16th with 46 points. They have a 10 point gap over the drop zone and should be safe. Form isn’t great with 1 win in 6 with 3 draws and 1 loss. They are without striker Le Fondre who is ineligible.
Both sides are safe and don’t appear to have much left to play for. I don’t think that will effect playing conditions here. I think Cardiff are in great form and have played well finally after a shakey start under new coach Slade. I prefer them with a small start, we get paid on a Cardiff win and half stake returned if a draw.
