Cardiff made it 6 wins from 8 with a fine smash and grab win against fellow promotion hopeful Leicester. In a dominant Leicester performance Cardiff defended manfully and were solid at the back. Craig Bellamy was the key to a great counter attacking style. Cardiff are the most allround side in the league and are a very balanced and dangerous outfit. They have an almost fully fit squad too and should be in the reckoning for automatic promotion at the end of the season.

Crystal Palace continue their poor run with only 1 win in 6 matches. The side were hamstrung at the weekend with a red card after only 10 minutes in their home clash with Huddersfield.

Palace still had the quality to take the lead but could not close out the game as Huddersfield pressed with a man advantage.Keeper Julian Speroni was culpable for the goal but made a string of fine saves throughout the game and should not be blamed.Damien Delaney will sit out here with a suspension.
