TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Charlton have hit a wall and are really struggling. In what seemed a relativley easy run of fixtures over the last month the have not managed a win in five games. The squad has been strengthened and players have returned from injury so its a bit of a mystery. The level of teams they have faced has been low too, with a few sides scrapping away at the bottom. Goals have been really hard to come by with only 3 in the last five games and 3 matches in which a blank was fired. Another curious fact as they have quality upfront. To me they seem a bit light in the creative department and the forwards are having to really scrap for goals. Lawrie Lawrence is likely to start but key striker Ricardo Fuller may not be able to start after his recent return from injury, he is likely to take his place on the bench.
Derby are in and out at the moment and cannot maintain any consistency at all. Nigel Clough must be tearing his hair out. Games are won and lost home and away, Derby are very hard to pin down. Defender Mark O'Brien will be assessed but is unlikely to be risked. Similar to Craig Bryson, who has knee trouble. Otherwise Clough has a full squad to choose from.
