CRYSTAL PALACE - LEEDS PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Crystal Palace have found form at the right time, with four wins in the last five games. After a terrible run of form around the New Year threatened to derail their push for promotion. Palace at their best are one of the most destructive sides in the league, they showed this by smashing four past 2nd place Hull in midweek.  The Eagles are 4th now on 68 points, with 18 wins, 10 draws and 8 losses, and are just 2 points off 2nd place now. Partly due to their own great form but also because many teams around them are faltering.  Leading scorer Glen Murray may be rested after looking jaded over the last few weeks. Kevin Phillips will likely take his place, fresh from his second half hattrick in midweek.

Leeds are hanging onto the tails off the big guns in the promotion chase. Their inability to construct a run of wins is proving costly but they still have an outside chance of making it.  Leeds away form is causing major headaches, without a win outside Elland Road since the 1st December. Leeds sit in 10th position with 14 wins, 8 draws and 13 losses but they do have a game in hand on a few rivals.

Crystal Palace get our backing again this week and we take them to carry on their superb home form, the last time they were defeated at Selhurst Park was way back in August! With 45 goals scored at home in just 18 matches they are such a potent force. Leeds do not travel well at all and will have it all do to here. I expect a Palace win and one with a few goals too. The home win is a ridiculous 1.95 with BetVictor who have to be taken to task here. Palace are far superior to Leeds and the price should be nearer 1.70 for me.
