CRYSTAL PALACE - LEICESTER PREDICTIONS
Crystal Palace take on Leicester in one of the games of the day in England Championship, two sides with playoff aspirations go head to head.
Crystal Palace are in horrible form at the moment and only for their superb start to the season they would be way out of the reckoning by now. A run that has seen them not win for six games (2 draws and 4 defeats) and not even score in the last five matches whilst conceding 11 goals. Crystal Palace still however occupy a play of spot in England Championship and sit in 5th. They have a record of 18 wins, 12 draws and 12 defeats but do have an extra game (away to Millwall) Jonathon Parr and captain Mile Jedinak will sit this out but winger Jason Banton is available.
Leicester pressed their claims for a playoff place with a strong home win against promotion rivals Bolton. After a terrible run of form with nine games without a win they bounced back in style in midweek. Leicester are in 6th and in the last playoff place but only have a 1 point gap over Bolton and Nottingham Forest so they have to get maximum points from these three remaining games. Leicester have 18 wins, 10 draws and 15 losses but have the 2nd best goal difference in the league with only leaders Cardiff having better. A big plus with the league being so tight. Leicester report an unchanged squad from the one that beat Bolton.
CRYSTAL PALACE - LEICESTER BETTING TIPS
Crystal Palace are out of form its true but I am taking them for the value option. Having Leicester favourites is madness considering they themselves have just one win in ten matches. Palace have the quality there and with a game in hand have to fancy their chances of retaining a playoff place. All the pressure is on Leicester who have two sides breathing down their necks for the last playoff spot.
