Middlesbrough have played three and won two with Bolton hammered 3-0 at home while Preston drew with 0-0 on the road. The other win came in capital cup vas Oldham were dispatched 3-1 by a shadow Boro side. Derby in contrast are yet to record a victory with 2 league draws and a loss to League 2 Portsmouth in the cup. The two league draws were with sides expected to be bottom half of the table too so not much credit there. Two key men are out in Will Hughes and Craig Bryson and Hughes is long term which is a blow. Boro still have Woodgate and Gibson out but neither has featured this season so improved options when they are available.
Middlesbrough look solid indeed while Derby are still to really get going. Surprised not to see the odds on the visitors shorter than this and a good price for draw no bet. I have these as my "bet of the day" in England Championship.
