A massive clash between two historical rivals, Cardiff will host Leeds in a game guaranteed to be a heated affair.
It's a fixture both sets of fans look forward to, with more than the three points at stake for both teams.

League Form:

Cardiff had a poor last couple of games prior to the live Sunday fixture with Wolves. As two mediocre performances led to a draw and a loss. They made a few deadline day signings that could help get their season back on track. New players Nicky Maynard and Craig Noone made their Cardiff debuts on an afternoon that indicated the Welsh club could be in for a successful season. They replaced Don Cowie and Aron Gunnarsson in the starting XI as Malky Mackay's side lined up in a 4-4-2 formation. Another recent arrival, Tommy Smith, made his first home start. Cardiff looked a much more balanced side and ran out worthy 3-1 winners with Peter Whittingham bagging a hat-trick. Leeds go into the game level on points with Cardiff on the back of a 3-3 draw with league favourites Blackburn. Neil Warnock's side had a right go at Blackburn and should have sealed the win after being 2-0 down at one point. Leeds defence struggled to live with Blackburn at times but I think most teams will througout the season. El Hadji Diouf was the key man for Leeds who rely too much on the "in your face" Warnock tactics, as they are capable of knocking it around.  Orthadox is Warnock's middle name and his 4-4-2 is as straightforward as his long ball game. The team will bully sides but will come unstuck more often than not.

Betting Prediction - Cardiff are the better of these two sides and should be good enough for the three points. They played a very good game last time out to dispatch a Wolves side who are much better than Leeds. With the new Cardiff boys adapting almost instantly a home win looks good. 2.10 on Cardiff win (willhill)
