Felix Magath has had a horrible start to this Championship campaign, and former players have branded him "ancient", a statement he did not take lightly. The ancient German also took time to blame the former owner for the miserable shape of the club. Unheard of if you ask me!
Magath has brought in a new keeper from Bundesliga 2 club 1860 Munich. Not a bad keeper for the Championship, but there are more problems than just between the sticks. Obviously the club is struggling internally, and the midweek cup win was probably not much more than a short term life line for the German coach. Here club captain Parker and fellow midfielder Fotheringham are doubts after picking up knocks in midweek.
Cardff has doubts over Gunnarson in midfield and CB Turner is not fit yet. However Macheda is likely to start after impressing in midweek. Perhaps Solskjær is ready to get the best out of him.
Last season in the EPL Cardiff won both fixtures. I know both sides have rebuilt, but to me it looks Cardiff has been much better at it. At the end of the day: I am backing Cardiff to win here, but do so at -0.25. This means half the stake is returned should this end in a draw. 2.36 is the odds, provider is the generous Pinnacle Sports.
