HUDDERSFIELD - BARNSLEY PREDICTIONS

Huddersfield against Barnsley would have been a relegation battle a few weeks back but the home side have managed to haul themselves out the dogfight. Barnsley face a huge uphill task to remain in England Championship.

Huddersfield have found form at just the right time and with 3 wins from the last 4 games they have hauled themselves out of the bottom three. The key for The Terriers was always going to be keeping James Vaughan and Jermaine Beckford fit and playing together. They have only managed to get them on the pitch together recently but the results are there for all to see. Nine points from twelve and four goals each for the two strikers. I have said this before but there is no finer partnership in the league than these two. Danny Ward is back and should be joined by Beckford who has missed training as a precaution.

Barnsley are not in too bad of form but too many draws seems to have cost them. With only two defeats in the last nine you would expect them to be surging up the table but four draws and only three wins is not good enough when others are performing too. Barnsley sit in 22^nd in England Championship with 14 wins, 12 draws and 19 defeats. Barnsley know that if they can better Peterborough’s result they can still make it to safety. A win here gives them a chance and brings both Sheff Wed and Millwall into it too so Barnsley will have an eye on other results for sure. Stephen Dawson and Rory Delap are available after both missing a few games injured.
