HUDDERSFIELD - IPSWICH PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Huddersfield are in awful form, actual relegation form. With only one win in 12 matches now and a remarkable 24 goals conceded they really need to stop the rot. Huddersfield sit in 21st with 9 wins, 10 draws and 13 losses. They are only 2 points above Wolves in the drop zone but do have a game in hand. New coach Mark Robins will be desperate to grab some points and he will be keen to get them quickly. 

Ipswich are picking up the odd win but are not truely safe just yet. They are not performing well at all but are grinding out results. McCarthy has already stated any desire to play football is secondary to picking up points. He was quoted yesterday saying he has targeted a point here and that seems a dangerous ploy by him. Ipswich are in indifferent form with just 2 wins in 8 (the other games all lost) They sit in 18th with 10 wins, 8 draws and 15 losses, just 3 points above the drop zone but buffered by three teams. Richard Stearman and Lee Martin return to the side after sitting out midweek.

I don't like the way Ipswich are approaching games and thing the safety first option may blow up in their faces. Huddersfield are in dire straights now and I think Coach Robins will have them right up for this game after the disaster against Forest. Huddersfield are a better side than Ipswich and the prices on offer seem too big. Ipswich are in slightly better form but not enough to have them favourites in some books. 2.79 on the home side is a huge price and somewhere in the region of 2.30 would be right here.
