Ipswich seemed to plateau last season, Mick McCarthy tried a few things but they never really got into the playoff challenge. They were solid at home but unconvincing away. They have a stable squad and added a few interesting youngsters. New signing Grant Ward is short of match fitness, so could be benched at best. Luke Hyam, Giles Coke and David McGoldrick are out too. Barnsley were a revelation in League One last year. Coming out of the relegation zone around Christmas all the way up to the playoffs. The club management didn't really cover themselves in glory with sackings left right and centre. They have signed some decent players and I feel they could surprise a few sides in the Championship. Angus Bradshaw is suspended but apart from him Barnsley are fully stocked for players.
Ipswich are solid at home and Barnsley are not expected to get a result here. I feel they have the quality and confidence to take the game to Ipswich here and for me Both Score YES is a good option at 10-11 or 1.91 WilliamHill.
Take Both score YES at 1.91 or 10-11 at WilliamHill.
