IPSWICH - WATFORD PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Ipswich continue to haul themselves up the table after another impressive home win. Last two home games have seen Middlebrough and Blackpool dispatched. Away from Portman Road though they have lost the last two to Bristol and Blackburn. Ipswich are four points and four places of the relegation zone that is now very tight. Six points seperate 10 teams now and things are looking much better for the Tractor Boys. With 10 wins, 8 draws and 14 defeats they are much more healthier state. Midfielder Anthony Wordsworth will sit the game out after injuring his back.

Watford are in great form at the moment, with just one loss in the last seven. Goals are flying in for The Hornets with 11 in the last five games.  Indeed Troy Deeney and Matej Vydra look a lethal partnership with 33 between them despite both only playing 26 matches so far.  Watford are a very destructive side and are the clear top scorers in the league with 64 so far, 6 ahead of their nearest rivals. Watford have a quality squad and they are able to rotate, a valuable asset at this stage of the season.

Ipswich are in average form and are scraping a few results together. However Watford are real quality and have the ability to totally destroy teams. Ipswich should be no match for this side who are playing some of the best football in the division. I expect a few goals here for the away side too. Ipswich are not playing any sort of football and are relying on a direct style coupled with dogged defending. This is not good enough against the better sides in the league.
