TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY
Leicester lost again to halt their good run of form. They travelled to the resurgent Leeds and lost 1-0. In the latter part of the game they totally dominated the home side and have many clear cut chances. Leeds held on grimly and Leicester could not breach the backline. The Foxes were left rueing their slow start and coach Pearson is anxious for his side to get back on track straight away. David Nugent is still struggling with a bad neck and Sean St Ledger definitely sits out. Striker Marko Futacs and winger Anthony Knockaert both look likely to make starts after lively substitute cameos in midweek.
Derby are a typical Jekyll and Hyde side, strong at home but weak away. They are capable of taking anyone on at Pride Park as the midweek game against league leaders Cardiff showed us. They more than matching the Welshmen throughout the game to take a 1-1 draw. Nigel Clough has Frankie Fielding and young star Jeff Hendrick fit and rested, while forward Nathan Tyson is looking for a starting berth after his explosive 20 minute cameo to take the points. Gareth Roberts will be given the maximum time allowed to make his recovery as he is integral to the teams chances of success. Forward Jamie Ward may make his first appearance in 11 matches after finally getting the all clear from his hamstring injury.
