MIDDLESBROUGH - LEEDS :  PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Middlesbrough lost again at the weekend to take it to 5 straight defeats. A horrible run which has totally ruined their automatic hopes and leaves them hanging onto the last playoff position. Boro have conceded 15 goals in that time, scoring just 4 times. They sit in 6th now with 15 wins, 2 draws and 13 losses. No team outside the bottom 7 have lost more than Boro. Strikers Ishmael Miller and Scott McDonald again miss out.

Leeds are inconsistent as usual and are still looking a side destined for mid table unless they get their act together sharpish. They have a top squad now and have few excuses. They are 11th at the moment with 12 wins, 6 draws and 12 losses. El Hadji-Diouf and Rudy Austin return to the side after being rested at the weekend. Neil Warnock is hoping to extend the loan period of centre midfielder Ross Berkley. They influential Everton youth was impressive at Sheff Wed and equally so in a short spell here at Leeds.
