TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Middlesbrough have the happy knack of bouncing back whenever they slip up. As they do not draw many games they are flying high in the league despite 8 losses this season. I have been very impressed with Boro, they are a very organised side who have threat all over the pitch. Impressive squad with numerous options too, a good candidate for an automatic spot. Four wins and three losses in the last seven they just need to cut out the flat performances. Boro have big injury worries with Josh McEachran and Andre Bikey both likely to sit out. Seb Hines and Faris Haroun are facing late checks. Rhys Williams will be looked at too after his 1st start on Boxing Day for four months.
Blackpool have only lost once in nine games but they are having far too many draws. Six draws in that time tells the story. They create many chances each game but defensively are poor. Rumours abound about the immenent departure of winger Thomas Ince, his loss will be a massive blow. His goals and creative play will be almost impossible to replace. Blackpool have been hit by a virus which affected several players. Craig Carthcart and Neil Ardley may have to make do with the bench after a bout of illness.
