MIDDLESBROUGH – BLACKPOOL: PREDICTIONS
Big match at Riverside Stadium as Middlesbrough host Blackpool in England Championship.
Middlesbrough have had a dismal 2013 so far with the end of last season an unmitigated disaster and the opening day loss to Leicester and the defeat to lower league Accrington ending the cup challenge before it even began. Written off almost we got a nice price for them last week against Charlton. Boro showed some good heart in the game and looked solid in all departments. With the search for a striker Boro are looking at Leeds Ross McCormack but an improved offer was rebuffed.
Blackpool are 2 wins from 2 in the league so far but things have not been at all impressive for the Tangerines. That may seem like a strange statement about a team with 100% record but they were not great in beating Doncaster 3-1 and only managed to beat Barnsley with a flukey last minute goal. Highly influential winger Tom Ince withdrew from England duty in midweek with a groin injury and will be given as long as possible to prove his fitness for Blackpool.

Middlesbrough are looking to turn a corner here with back to back wins, something they have not done for a long time. They are priced correctly here against Blackpool although I was hoping for some bigger prices with the good start Blackpool have had. I am not convinced about Blackpool at all and get against them.
