Middlesbrough played a tight game away to league new boys Preston last week and took away a 0-0 draw. Not the most exciting of openers for the fans but a point there is a solid start. I believe Boro will be a real force at home this season and will be on their side as much as possible, especially at home. They destroyed Bolton 3-0 at home, then took a lead at Derby before succumbing to pressure and taking another away draw.They will still be without Alex Baptiste, Damia Abella and Rhys Williams but defenders Woodgate and Gibson are fit and available while new striker David Nugent is yet to make a full debut. Bristol City have yet to win a game this season, 1 draw against Leeds to go with three defeats. Two in the league (2-0 away to Sheff Wed and 4-2 at home to Brentford) They also lost in the cup to lower league Luton. Luke Freeman is suspended while keeper Frankie Fielding is injured.
Bristol City are finding life tough in the higher division and it doesn’t come tougher than an away game at Boro.
