MIDDLESBROUGH - CARDIFF PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Middlesbrough have suffered in the last few games, a poor run in which they have had one win in seven matches (5 defeats in that time) Boro have been struggling for points and performances. Last time out in the league they faced a Millwall side in worse form than themselves. In this game they were completely flat and uninspiring. In midweek they matches Premiership Chelsea for long periods in the cup replay. They lost 2-0 and this could have an effect for them in this Cardiff game as they ran hard for the majority of the game. Middlesbrough have fell out of the playoff places for the 1^st time. They sit in 7^th but are only 1 point behind Brighton, they have played a game more but there are plenty of matches left. Boro may be tempted to play the same eleven as the Chelsea game but they do have striker Marvin Emnes to come in.

Cardiff have only lost twice in 14 league games, an impressive run which has saw 10 wins. They sit atop of the table with a gap of 8 points over Watford and Hull with a game in hand. Cardiff have 22 wins, 4 draws and 7 losses. The Dragons/Bluebirds are the team of the division and it would be a travesty if they slip up now. Cardiff have no injury worries of their own, and with a very strong squad they may choose to rotate a little to keep legs fresh.
